Metamorphosis - Bill to Butterfly

Ein Geldschein verwandelt sich in einen Schmetterling.

An envelope is displayed and shown to have a wand printed on it.  A card is removed from the envelope.

On the card is a picture of a butterfly.  The card says "Like a butterfly" and when opened it says "you're changing into something more amazing each day".  And there is a lone dollar bill in the card.

The card is closed and the empty envelope bearing the image of the wand on is waved over it in a magical gesture.  Lo and behold, when the card is opened again a butterfly with dollar bill wings emerges from the card and flutters away!

The card is clearly seen to be empty as if the dollar bill had actually transformed itself into the butterfly.  If you wish, you may cause the real dollar to reappear inside the card.

This very versatile trick can be adapted to many different kinds of events, parties and stories.  Most any type of greeting card can be gimmicked to use in the routine.  But we supply a gimmicked card perfectly suited for the effect, along with an ordinary duplicate which may be examined.  The specially printed butterfly card you receive will differ from the card in the video demo somewhat.  It is generic, suitable for use with a male or female spectator.

The wings of the butterfly you receive actually look like currency, not like a normal butterfly. It's realistic flying action is provided by a wind-up mechanism, please note that the butterfly flies for a short distance before fluttering to the ground. The body is not made of wire, these are professionally molded out of plastic resulting in a lightweight and durable prop that you can rely on.
